Tuition Information

Our 2023/2024 dance season has a minimum of 35 scheduled classes beginning Monday, September 11, 2023 through Friday, June 14, 2024. Costume pictures will be taken at Tami Gee's on Saturday, June 15, 2024 (NO classes this day). Our mandatory tech week begins Monday, June 17 through Saturday, June 22 and our annual Recital is Sunday, June 23, 2024. These dates are subject to change pending restrictions

Tuition Rates

(entire 35 weeks of classes and performance rehearsals):

$25 registration fee per dancer/per calendar year (nonrefundable)

$560.00 - 1/2 hour class (breaks down to $16.00 a class/10 monthly payments of $56.00)

$595.00 - 3/4 hour class (breaks down to $17.00 a class/ 10 monthly payments of $59.50)

$630.00 - 1 hour class (breaks down to $18.00 a class/ 10 monthly payments of $63.00)

$315.00 - Pointe class (breaks down to $ 9.00 a class/10 monthly payments of 31.50)

Discounts given per student and/or families are as follows; 2nd class 5% off, 3rd class 10% off, 4th class 15% off, 5th class 20% off and continues at 20% until you have reached individual or family cap.

Individual dancer cap will be based on your total tuition, not to exceed $475 per month for 10 months (Registration through June 1)
Family caps will be based on your total tuition, not to exceed $750 per month for 10 months (Registration through June 1)
COMPANY*T fees are not eligible for discounts or included in any Cap

TUITION PAYMENT OPTIONS:

You may pay in full along with the $25 registration fee per dancer OR make monthly payments of 10 equal payments due the first of each month. (Registration thru June 1) with the first payment including a $25 registration fee per dancer. Payments remain the same regardless of the amount of scheduled classes within each month.
VENMO @tamigees-dance (if the gray button “Turn on for purchases” is clicked in the final steps of payment, you will be responsible for the small fee Venmo charges)
Drop off or Mail check to TAMI GEE’S STUDIO OF DANCE, c/o Teri Geppi, 3334 Murray Road, Finksburg, MD 21048 (allow 2 weeks for check to reach us by the 1^st of each month)
Place check or cash in our payment box within the studio (by the 1^st of each month - Only when classes are in session - Please schedule for class days/times)
VISA or MASTER CARD .. there is a 3% convenience fee charged (email to set up an appointment for this option)

IMPORTANT – NO CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS ARE ABLE TO BE MADE THROUGH YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT OR OVER THE TELEPHONE

Should you withdraw your child early for any reason, you are responsible for the full season’s tuition September 2023 through June 2024. Tuition will not be refunded for missed or canceled classes due to severe weather conditions and/or COVID shutdown. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. A $30 late fee is access to accounts on the 11th unless prior arrangements have been made with the business manager. There will be a $30.00 fee on all returned checks. You are responsible for any court and/or legal fees necessary to collect unpaid monies due Tami Gee’s Studio of Dance, Inc.

Can you tell me more about Tami Gee's Studio of Dance?

Tami Gee's Studio of Dance has been providing professional quality dance training since 1994 in a positive, nurturing and encouraging dance studio. We pride ourselves in knowing that each student is unique and we must understand their individual personality, learning style and dance training goals, so they can train and grow into the very best dancer they strive to be. Our instructors at our dance studio are dedicated skilled professionals and love sharing their knowledge and passion for dance with their students. Tami Gee's Studio of Dance offers dance training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, lyrical, modern, leaps & turns, and acro. At our dance studio, classes are divided according to age and training level and meet the needs of dancers age 3 through adult, along with beginner through advanced level classes. Our dance studio also has an award winning competitive dance company - COMPANY*T. Here at our dance studio we love providing our customers with personal attention, so do not hesitate to contact us as we look forward to helping you and welcoming you into our Tami Gee's Studio of Dance family.
What are the studio policies?
- All Dancers MUST wear proper dance attire to each class! (see Dress Code)
- NO Eating or gum chewing allowed in the DANCE ROOMS.
- Chairs are for sitting… Please use lockers for dance bags, shoes, jackets, etc.
- While taking class, cell phones may not be used and should be set to vibrating mode.
- Please be prompt. If your dancer is late and misses any or all of the warm-up, instead of participating in the class, he or she may have to observe the class. Lateness is not only disruptive to the class, but also unsafe for the dancer.
- Please clean up after yourselves and your young children (especially cookies and cereal crumbs in the waiting area that end up on dancers’ shoes and on our dance floor).
- Do not allow children to stand on the chairs, run up and down or play in the hallway. (This includes siblings)
- The back area is designed as a quiet lounge and homework area.
- For the safety of all dancers, please walk them to the studio and pick them up outside of the studio after class.
- Do not wear your dance shoes outside of the studio.
- Do not wear street shoes (including parents) into the classrooms.
- NO parking in the back of the building or along the curbs (back & side) – This is employee parking only for ALL businesses of the building. Parking is on the side of the building, side next to post office or front of Food Lion.
